I’m going for a job interview at safeway and I have to go to an hour long group assessment.
In it it says I have to take a numeracy test. I’m crap at maths and and wanted to know for anyone who has done something like this what type of maths would it be?
Seeing as it’s just safeway would it be really basic maths just to show that you can count properly or more school type maths?
Thanks.
I’m going for a packing job too not a cash register one. I dunno if that matters for the test though.

You will being doing basic math…addition, subtraction, and word problems.
When i was a teenager I applied for a job at a supermarket and I had to do a similar test. It was just basic addition, subtraction and division. Mostly to do with money.
As long as you have basic math skills you will be fine as you have a cash register to do all the tricky stuff when you are working.
Good luck with the interview.
Its basically just algebra (at its highest difficulty).
It’s just a basic math test and nothing really hard at all. You’ll be fine for practice you can do a search on line and try some of the free math tests and check to see how you do. You may even find the Safeway test if you search hard enough. Good Luck! Remember to Smile!
