Ha Ha Charade You Are……………….

My current employer is doing alot of shady things with insurance companies and double billing people. I need to find another job. What do I say in an interview when they ask me where I work now and why am I leaving?

I was thinking of wearing a full knee length skirt but I’m unsure if it’s appropriate to wear open toe shoes with no stockings to an interview or do I need to wear hose and professional style shoes. No funny answers please. I know what is fashionable and I know not to wear hose with open toe shoes. Please consider the nature of the job I’m applying for when answering.

It was 10 weeks from the closing date by the time I was short listed and interviewed.

It has been almost 3 weeks since the interview… I thought it went really well but I have not heard anything one way or the another.

I have been putting off a trip overseas because I am really interested in the job.

How long do you think is reasonable to expect to wait?

Do you think they would/should let me know even if I wasn’t successful?

What should I do?
Thanks for the feedback.

I only have the branch coordinator’s contact info and I am hesitant to email them in case they think I am in a hurry (which I am)

What is appropriate to wear to a job interview? If a skirt is worn, how long should the skirt be?

Hi -
I am really interested in this case manager job. I went for an interview on Wendsday and they told me they would get back at me in a week or two. Anyways I think the interview went real well just because I have some experience working as a residential counselor in a group home. When they asked questions I felt confident in knowing how to answer it and I really showed my enthusiasm for the work. There are a couple of full time positions and part time they are seeking to fill. They said I was the third person they had interviewed and they had some more people to still interview. They gave me a tour and introduced me to the people who work there by my name and all. Do you always introduce the person who is being interviewed to everyone or should I take it as a good sign?

I’m going to a job interview for a clothing store (Urban Outfitters), and someone told me to be prepared for the end of the interview when the potential employer will ask me if I have any questions for them. I’ve heard it’s a big no-no to not have anything to ask, so my question is, What is a good question (or two) to ask about a retail clothing store? I’ve never done this before and need some help.

It wasn’t for a real salaried job or anything, just at a clothing store. I didn’t get the job, which I found to be absolutely ludicrous. I answered the questions truthfully and straightforwardly. I was polite to the girl who interviewed me and was quite well dressed (better dressed than her…). Granted, I had no work experience other than as a student aide in my old college, but the fact that this was a job as a junior sales associate should have negated that.

Perhaps they saw me as overqualified? Could the fact that I go to an Ivy League school have caused me a problem? Could it be that they thought I wouldn’t devote enough time to them?

What are some tips on getting a job like this? I have to do something this summer and really have no desire to work in an office or to do an unpaid internship. So how do I bs my way into a job? Because for some reason I feel as though my interview wasn’t strong enough. How should you respond those silly questions they ask you?

I have an interview tomorrow with a healthcare recruiting firm and I want to have a few good questions to ask about the job/industry, but it will be a new field for me and I’m not sure what to ask about. Any suggestions?

So I have a job interview in a couple of days. The job title is Juvenile probation officer and it is with the state of Virginia. I have a B.S. in Criminal Justice and have worked with juvenile offenders before (but it was a decade ago). I have already started to review the Juvenile Justice system, courts, etc.. What questions do you think I should be prepared to answer and how do you think I should spend my time preping for the interview?

I will ge graduating with a bachelors in finance in May. I’m kind of nervous at job interviews and I **** behavioral job interview because they put you on the spot and you dont know what to expect. What are some behavioral questions employers will ask? What’s the best way to prepare for one and what do you do when they ask a challenging question in which you cannot apply yourself to it or just plain out stuck and dont know what to say?
