I have an interview for an internship or a part time job. I’m male, 21 yrs old. People at the firm dress business casual. Should I dress the same to fit in or should I dress up?

I have a job interview coming up in a few days. I have a black pant suit, and I plan on wearing a white button down shirt underneath the jacket (I know it sounds boring, but it is better to err on the conservative side for a first interview). My question is, are women supposed to wear the button down shirt tucked, or untucked into the pants? Also, are you supposed to wear the collar of the shirt over the lapels of the jacket, or under the jacket? I want to make the best impression possible. Thanks!

This is my first job interview ever and I have been asking people what to wear but I keep getting different answers. I don’t know whether to dress formal and professional or casual. Robeks is a casual place so I don’t want to look overly dressed for the job interview and at the same time I don’t want to seem to casual. People say to dress “nice” but what does that mean? Specific examples of clothes would be nice. I have the interview in two hours. Thanks a bunch to anybody who answers.

Im going to a job interview tomorrow (group interview) for a supermarket (safeway, coles, woolworths) any ideas on what looks good and is appropiate?

I inherited a one caret diamond solitare, diamond stud earrings and a diamond necklace that I wear everyday, along with my own wedding rings containing diamonds. I don’t want people to think that I am wealthy, but wonder if I should take them off to go to a job interview. I am currently unemployed and have had several interviews but still no job a year later. Are interviewers “put off” by my jewelry?

I have a job interview at Forever 21. Don’t laugh. I only plan on working there for the summer so I can go to graduate school this August.

Anyway, the clothes there are geared towards teenage girls, so I’m not sure what a male should wear. Any suggestions?

I just graduated from college and I have my first “real world” job interview on Friday for a legal assistant position. I own a black suit, is this appropriate? If not, I would appreciate some suggestions. Also, what is an appropriate way to wear my hair? It is permed so it tends to look a little less than polished. Any interview tips you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
