I have a job interview in an office today. I’m going to be wearing a black business suit, with a white shirt under the jacket. I’m not sure how to wear my hair tho. Normally, I wear it down, but I’m afraid that I look too young. I am 25 yrs old, and have a young looking face (ppl often mistake me for a high schooler). I have long, straight, blond hair. Is it too plain to just pull it back in a simple ponytail? What can I do to help me look more professional? Thanks!

I have a job interview at Forever 21. Don’t laugh. I only plan on working there for the summer so I can go to graduate school this August.

Anyway, the clothes there are geared towards teenage girls, so I’m not sure what a male should wear. Any suggestions?

How do you explain being fired at a job interview? I want to be prepared if the question comes up but I don’t know how to explain this.

I want to be professional and convincing….Can anyone help me on this?
I cannot remove it from my resume….It is in the middle of my career. So no I can’t remove it.

Hi -
I am really interested in this case manager job. I went for an interview on Wendsday and they told me they would get back at me in a week or two. Anyways I think the interview went real well just because I have some experience working as a residential counselor in a group home. When they asked questions I felt confident in knowing how to answer it and I really showed my enthusiasm for the work. There are a couple of full time positions and part time they are seeking to fill. They said I was the third person they had interviewed and they had some more people to still interview. They gave me a tour and introduced me to the people who work there by my name and all. Do you always introduce the person who is being interviewed to everyone or should I take it as a good sign?

I have a job interview in a few days at an art gallery/shop. It’s not professional, just a customer service type job. I don’t want to be overdressed or underdressed. I’m young and already have an artsy look about me, but I’m not sure of what would be appropriate for this kind of job. Any suggestions?
